2010 I was told that I perhaps suffered from dysthymia from my psychologist. Comphressive description: Anti-fluoridationists, anti-racist, anti-world government activist, anti-zionist, automath, dissident, drug educated, environmental activist, ethical semi-lacto-vegetarian with sympathy for freeganism, euroscepticist, free software developer, gaian, hippie, neohumanist, nutritionist, organ donator, philomath, project manager, psychonaut, slacker, workaholic.I am a science fiction fan who write time series forecastings[report]. I have devoted the bulk of my energies to political and spiritual freedom activism. I serve as a full time and unpaid volunteer for different communities. Professing to care little for material wealth. I admire the work of Alexander Shulgin (psychopharmacologist and chemist), Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar (social revolutionary) and Ram Dass. I recommend avoiding certain terms which I consider misleading, and advocate using other terms instead. I document my standpoints that my political notes and long-term action items are based upon. I sympathize with some radical left philosophies and shamanism but do not follow any of them. The reason why I write about my political activism is because we don't have censorship in sweden. My mother tongue is Swedish, and I have a working knowledge of English. I am single and do not seek relations. I'm no ufamilliar to hear that I live in a utopia. I don't belive that people with ecclesiastical titles are holy, “the chooser becomes the chosen”, you were born to be king over your own life.
Antiscience From a western point of viewPersonality types: Accurate, agnostics, anxious, dynamic, introspect, introvert, liberal, self-critical. Human behavior: Eccentricity. Religious behaviour and experience: Scrupulosity. Personality types:Subpersonality types: [investigated, the average person has about a dozen subpersonalities] Personality traits: Conscientiousness, highly sensitive person (HSP), latent inhibition, grit, neurotic, openness to experience, perfectionist, surgency, type A personality, virtue (piety, idealistic), whiz kid. Personality disorders: DSPS, dysthymia, HPPD, OCPD, personality disorder (general diagnostic criteria), PTSD. Ego psychology: Ego syntonic. Odd behaviours: I am very fashinated by eyes, especially eye contact. I rescue worms from drowning when it rains. Frequent world peace daydreaming is normal in my life.
Neuroanatomy
OCPD I believe in good and evil (morality), supports religious toleration and remain opposed to most forms of guru-based forms of spiritual awakening. For me its mor imporant to understand and follow my own values rather then those created in specific systems (religions, politics etc). Despite philosophical differences, all major world religions have the same potential to create good human beings. We are all brothers and sisters, friends and families. I think ego death is one of the most important experiences we encounter during our lives in order to be altruistic. I have a simple axiom that I totally believe in; Always face your greatest ego, in any consciousness, including in altered states of consciousness (ASC) and it will be transformed with something beautiful. For example, if you feel pain, go into details where your pain, where it is located, and go into it. If it was a pain in the stomach, think about opening your mouth, and going down into your mouth and describe what you see. It's dark, it's this, that, and keep on going. Describe what you see as you go down. Go all the way down, into your insides. Frequently you will burst into a beautiful world of paradise. The pain would immediately be transformed into ecstasy. I balance between freethinking and agnosticism: Freethinking; I try to prove things for myself with experience that I think can be proven by science and logic in the future instead of belive that things are in a certain way. I'm convinced that we are not alone in universe for example. To quote Isabel Clarke: “I maintain that a radical shift in world-view, from naive technocratic scientism and towards a postmodern, more spiritually informed “new paradigm” perspective opens up creative, liberating and potentially healing avenues for thinking about and understanding the widest spectrum of human subjective experience.” Psychosis and Spirituality: Exploring the New Frontier Agnosticism;
P.M.H. Atwater studied over 270 child NDErs. She found that: “Our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.“[Alexander Shulgin] “During our lives, we may fill this void with many things such as: love, hatred, happiness, sadness, knowledge, ignorance, family, just to name a few. And when we die, we actually step into this spiritual dimension we have filled. Whatever we fill the void within us with, at death, we enter into it. Perhaps this is one good reason why the most important aspect of our missions in life have to do with love. Realizing, filling and cultivating divine love within our void and sharing this love with others during our life will create a heavenly paradise that will be manifested in death. Together with the earthbound realm, the void is known by many religious traditions as hell, purgatory, or outer darkness to name a few. Some people may remain in the void for one reason or another until they are ready to leave it. Choosing [positive] energy over [negative] is the key to being freed from the void. For some this might feel like a unberable eternity and their only hope is perhaps only reincarnation.“Kevin Williams I would not be supprised if international mass surveilance in the form of human RFID chips lead to planetary state terrorism run by a world government where the dissidents is associated with terror. If that happens, som people will realize that the puppet states act as terroist when they are under full control. Don't be afraid to refuse to wear this tracking device, be courageous and just say no. But I belive in and struggle for my highest wish, world peace. We have to begin the process of world peace by coming to peace within ourselves.
“The question of real, lasting world peace concerns human beings, so basic human feelings are also at its roots. Through inner peace, genuine world peace can be achieved. In this the importance of individual responsibility is quite clear; an atmosphere of peace must first be created within ourselves, then gradually expanded to include our families, our communities, and ultimately the whole planet.” Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama
It is our duty to take full responsibility for our own actions. Like supporting different movements and theories of rights that I belive have a huge impact at local, regional, national, international and global levels on gaia. I put emphasis on separation of church and state and warns that a world government might become a imperial cult ruled by a cult of personality. I remains committed to talk about the importance of these human values and share them with everyone I meets. I am convinced that inner peace is the key to world peace and that inner conflicts is the weapon to world conflicts. Personality traits that I want to achive: Ambiversion. Achive high humility. Disolve alter ego completely! My goal is to be to become a polymath by accessing more consciousness through spiritual practice. I want to get involved in more social movements and travel around the world to learn and by different cultures. I want live in a free society.
I have a dreams to found a revolutionary movement, a ecovillage, an international non-profit organization and achive spiritual enlightenment. My pipedream is that world peace comes true where we all can live together in happiness despite specie, culture, belief system or religion.
Eschatology It is possible to achieve several lifetimes of growth during one life by safely[Genevieve Lewis Paulson - Kundalini And The Chakras, Kundalini and the Chakras, p177] spiritual energy. My dominated model is that I think we are everything in all space and time forever, not just living organisms but minerals, energies etc. You are me and I am you.
Revitalizing the cells Singularity
Spacetime singularity I think we can take our consciousness down to singularity level and optimize our own DNA, remove viruses, and unlock new functions to our brain like any supernovas create a galaxies. The scientist expects hundreds of billions of galaxies to exist, far more then the number of people on Earth. I belive that we can gain this power by challenge personal psychological crisis and inner peace. A shaman may be initiated via a serious illness, by being struck by lightning, or by a near-death experience.I belive this is scientificly linked to psychic abilities like faith healing and telepathy. Perhaps we had those abilities in our ancient genes but forgot how to use them. I don't belive in human cloning because that would prevent us from optimize our own psyche first. Narby thinks ayahuasca could be a valuable tool for the modern biologist, who could use the substance to interrogate the “mind of nature” directly. Recently, Narby brought three European molecular biologist down to visit an Amazonian shaman. During their trances, they attempted to ask direct questions of the ayahuasca spirit relating to their areas of research. All received answers to their queries. For example, one genetic researcher found herself transformed into a protein flying above a long DNA strand, and was able in way to understand the meaining of certain pattern in what had previously been considered “junk DNA”:
She saw DNA sequences known as “CpG islands,” which she [Daniel Pinchbeck, Breaking Open the Head, p157]
had been nuzzling over at work and which are found upstream of about sixty percent of all human genes. She saw they were structurally different from the surrounding DNA and that this structural difference allowed them to be easily accessed and therefore to serve as “landing pads” for transcription proteins, which dock on to the DNA molecule and make copies of precise genetic structures
Technological singularity Kurzweil has stressed the extreme potential dangers of nanotechnology but argues that in practice, progress cannot be stopped, and any attempt to do so will retard the progress of defensive and beneficial technologies more than the malevolent ones, increasing the danger. To quote “Post-2045: “Waking up” the Universe”, one of the predictions made by Raymond Kurzweil:
“With the entire universe made into a giant, highly efficient supercomputer, AI and human hybrids (so integrated that, in truth it is a new category of "life") would have both supreme intelligence and physical control over the universe. Kurzweil suggests that this would open up all sorts of new possibilities, including abrogation of the laws of Physics, interdimensional travel, and a possible infinite extension of existence (true immortality).”
I think its our own mission to find inner peace and I do not belive that we cannot prevent the eventual ultimate fate of the universe.
Breathing [F]or some years researchers jokingly reffered to schizophrenia as lung disease because of the high concentrations of DMT-forming enzymes within the lung![DMT: The Spirit Molecule, p84]
The pineal gland
Speculations “Meditative techniques using sound, sight, or the mind may generate particular wave patterns whose fields induce resonance in the brain. Millennia of human trial and error have determined that certain ‘sacred’ worlds, visual images, and mental exercises exert uniquely desired effects. Such effects may occur because of the specific fields they generate within the brain. These fields cause multiple systems to vibrate and pulse at certain frequencies. We can feel our minds and bodies resonate with these spiritual exercises. Of course, the pineal gland also is buzzing at these same frequencies . . .The pineal begins to ‘vibrate’ at frequencies that weaken its multiple barriers to DMT formation.” (Strassman). Is it possible that that some of our human ancestors produced more DMT than we do today? Brain researchers [...] dismiss the proposal that DMT can allow our brains to perceive dark matter or parallel universes, realms of existence inhabited by conscious entites.[Rick Strassman, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, Introduction] The human pineal gland is not actually part of the brain. Rather, it develops from specialized tissues in the roof of the fetal mouth. From there it migrates to the center of the brain, where it seems to have the best seat in the house. Since the pineal gland does not originate from brain tissue, it exists outside the blood-brain barrier and ought to be responsive to blood-borne chemicals and drugs.[Rick Strassman, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, p64]
The pineal gland contains the necessary building blocks to make DMT. For example, it possesses the highest levels of serotonin anywhere in the body, and serotonin is a crucial precursor for pineal melatonin. The pineal also has the ability to convert serotonin to tryptamine, a critical step in DMT formation I already knew that the Tibetan Buddhist Book of the Dead teaches that it takes forty-nine days for the soul of the recently dead to “reincarnate.” That is, seven weeks from the time of death of one person elapses until the life-force's “rebirth” into its next body. I remember very clearly, several years later, feeling the chill along my spine when, reading my textbook of human fetal development, I discovered this same forty-nine-day interval marking two landmark events in the human embryo formation. It takes forty-nine days from conception for the first signs of the human pineal to appear. Forty-nine days is also when the fetus differetiates into make or female gender.[Rick Strassman, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, p81-82] The Pineal gland does not gradual enlarge during the ages of 2 to 20 years.[ref] Until roughly age 8, we can-t really distinguish between fantasy and reality, due to our own natural hallucinogen, DMT, (dimethyltryptamine). DMT molecules are similar to serotonin and target the same receptors. The combination of the Pineal secreted DMT (Dimethyltriptamine) and the MAO Inhibitor pinoline (6-MeO-THbC) may be responsible for naturally occurring psychic experiences.[ref] Pinoline is a methoxylated tryptoline that occurs in the pineal gland that acts as an endogenous MAOI.
Electromagnetic fields (EMF) suppress pineal gland activity
The fluorine deficiency myth Fluoride and fluorine is not essential nutrients.[ref] Fluorides ability to inhibit, and even reverse, the initiation and progression of dental caries is well known. A recent studie shown that liquorice extract also prevent dental caries.[ref] However, fluoride is considered essential in the development and maintenance of teeth by the American Dental Hygienists' Association.[ref] Also Fluoride is no longer used for osteoporosis, and most sources don't think that ingesting fluoride prevents tooth decay (see Aoba 2002 and Pizzo 2007). There is more fluoride in the pineal gland than any other organ in the body and flouride calcifies the pineal gland. The pineal gland is a midline structure, and is often seen in plain skull X-rays, as it is often calcified. Susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) is a new MRI technique that can identify calcification by using phase images.[ref] Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) does not expose the patient to the hazards of ionizing radiation as with computed tomography (CT) scanners that uses X-rays. Calcification of the pineal gland is typical in adults.[ref] Lets go back to the history of fluoride. The G-Series is the first and oldest family of nerve agents[ref] that was accidentally discovered in Germany on December 23, 1936 by a research team headed by Dr. Gerhard Schrader working for IG Farben. Since 1934, Schrader had been working in a laboratory in Leverkusen to develop new types of insecticides for IG Farben. While working toward his goal of improved insecticide, Schrader experimented with numerous fluorine-containing compounds, eventually leading to the preparation of tabun. In experiments, tabun was extremely potent against insects: as little as 5 ppm of tabun killed all the leaf lice he used in his initial experiment.[ref] Treatment for suspected tabun poisoning is often three injections of a nerve agent antidote, such as atropine (found in Atropa belladonna).[ref] The first occurrence of fluoridated drinking water on Earth was found in Germany's Nazi prison camps. The Gestapo had little concern about fluoride's supposed effect on children's teeth; their alleged reason for mass-medicating water with sodium fluoride was to sterilize humans and force the people in their concentration camps into calm submission.[The Crime and Punishment of I.G. Farben, by Joseph Borkin] References that should be further investigatedThe following letter was received by the Lee Foundation for Nutritional Research, Milwaukee Wisconsin, on 2 October 1954, from Mr. Charles Perkins, a chemist: “I have your letter of September 29 asking for further documentation regarding a statement made in my book, The Truth About Water Fluoridation, to the effect that the idea of water fluoridation was brought to England from Russia by the Russian Communist Kreminoff. “In the 1930's, Hitler and the German Nazi's envisioned a world to be dominated and controlled by a Nazi philosophy of pan-Germanism. The German chemists worked out a very ingenious and far-reaching plan of mass-control which was submitted to and adopted by the German General Staff. This plan was to control the population in any given area through mass medication of drinking water supplies. By this method they could control the population in whole areas, reduce population by water medication that would produce sterility in women, and so on. In this scheme of mass-control, sodium fluoride occupied a prominent place. ...” “Repeated doses of infinitesimal amounts of fluoride will in time reduce an individual's power to resist domination, by slowly poisoning and narcotizing a certain area of the brain, thus making him submissive to the will of those who wish to govern him. [A convenient light lobotomy]” “The real reason behind water fluoridation is not to benefit children's teeth. If this were the real reason there are many ways in which it could be done that are much easier, cheaper, and far more effective. The real purpose behind water fluoridation is to reduce the resistance of the masses to domination and control and loss of liberty.” “When the Nazis under Hitler decided to go into Poland, both the German General Staff and the Russian General Staff exchanged scientific and military ideas, plans, and personnel, and the scheme of mass control through water medication was seized upon by the Russian Communists because it fitted ideally into their plan to communize the world. ...”
“I was told of this entire scheme by a German chemist who was an official of the great IG Farben chemical industries and was also prominent in the Nazi movement at the time. I say this with all the earnestness and sincerity of a scientist who has spent nearly 20 years' research into the chemistry, biochemistry, physiology and pathology of fluorine--any person who drinks artificially fluorinated water for a period of one year or more will never again be the same person mentally or physically.”
Historically, most cases of fluoride poisoning have been caused by accidental ingestion of insecticides or rodenticides (e.g. sodium fluoroacetate) containing fluoride. Currently most cases are due to the ingestion of toothpaste.[ref] Water fluoridation is the controlled addition of fluoride to a public water supply to reduce tooth decay. In an analysis published in the March 2006 issue of the Journal of Evidence Based Dental Practice, the authors examine the water fluoridation controversy in the context of the precautionary principle. The authors note that:
The flood of sodium fluoride in water and food also creates other more serious health problems that are not widely publicized, even suppressed. According to a scientific study done several years ago, Comparative Toxicity of Fluorine Compounds, industrial waste sodium fluorides are 85 times more toxic than naturally occurring calcium fluoride.[ref] 355 million worldwide receive artificially fluoridated water. Water fluoridation's science and practice are predominantly American and in China an estimated 200 million people receive water fluoridated at or above recommended levels. Communities have discontinued water fluoridation in some countries, including Finland, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland.[ref] Since 1952 a slick PR campaign rammed the concept of 'fluoridation' through the Public Health departments and various dental organizations.[ref]
In addition to fluorosis, independent labs and reputable researchers have linked the following health issues with daily long term intake of sodium fluoride:
The antidotes to get the fluoride out of the pineal gland The fulvic acid in Shilajit carries complexed minerals in “trace” amounts only, and should not be confused with metallic minerals. Fulvic acid has the ability to complex and remove toxic metals and other minerals from the system. After you consume one kilo of Shilajit you will be out of the matrix.[ref]
Do not use tooth products with flour. Switch to fluor-free toothpaste; Use liquorice extract to prevent dental caries instead of toothpastes containing fluor (fluoride). Filter the fluoride out of the tap water. Fluoridation does not affect the appearance, taste or smell of drinking water.[ref] Keep in mind that boiling tap water only increases the concentration of fluoride to water more. But removing fluoride from tap water is not so difficult. Reverse osmosis works well for removing fluorides. If you own your home and can spring for the bucks, you can have one installed under the sink in your kitchen. That makes things very convenient for your fluoride removal from tap water. Avoid using fluoride toothpaste as recommended by the dentists. Avoid fluorine drugs. Numerous drugs contain fluorine (fluorides are compounds that combine fluorine with some positively charged counterpart) including antipsychotics such as fluphenazine, HIV protease inhibitors such as tipranavir, antibiotics such as ofloxacin and trovafloxacin, and anesthetics such as halothane.[ref] Though F2 is too reactive to have any natural biological role, fluorine is incorporated into compounds with biological activity. Naturally occurring organofluorine compounds are rare.[ref] Fluorine is used to help prevent toxication or to delay metabolism[ref] but fluroine in itself is toxic. Useful links related to fluoride:

Legalize prostitution Various cultures have had conceptions of a flat earth and still have the conception that drugs are connected to evil forces, even when they are used in a spiritual context (entheogens). I have false belief in that and referre to that as The Myth of the Evil Drugs. While I won't say that drugs are necessary for spiritual and philosophical development, they do provide an interesting perspective and helped catalyze ideas in my mind. My first true entheogenic experience was 2009. MDPV HCL, 46 mg / 70 kg bw, intravenous, split in three doses over a period of 7 hours and 21 minutes [with legal immunity: 2009-01-21, Sweden] as exposure and response prevention (ERP) agent for my personality disorders. It was carried out effectively with maximal face-to-face contact with a well trusted guide under some hours. I confronted my fears and discontinued my escape response with inner peace. After several hours kundalini energy released that removed withdrawal symtoms and gave me insomnia for 5 1/2 wonderful days with peaked perceptions. I challenged hypomania with my new coping skills and bursted in tears followed by one day sleep. This was a life transforming and awakening experience at the same time. I don't recommend drugs that might cause dependence but this experiment demostrates that we completely have missed the point that they also can heal if they are used in a spiritual practice and not only in standard medical use. David Englund Exposure and response prevention is a cognitive behavioral therapy treatment used to cure OCPC that I had. Recent results (Lovell et al., see below) indicate that ERP can be carried out effectively with minimal face-to-face contact between the therapist and the subject. This is described as the brotherhood of breath in The Psychedelic Experience: A manual based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead. In positive psychology, anxiety is described as a response to a difficult challenge for which the subject has poor coping skills. This also gave me understanding that drugs that is known to cause drug dependence even can heal if they are used correctly. Drugs has and allways will exist so if we don't learn how to deal with them they will allways be a problem. Learn everything you can about the material and stay away from all information that's clearly geared to encourage or discourage its use.[Alexander Shulgin] Physical depdendence entheogens should not be more descriminated then psychological dependence entheogens like ketamine or other drugs that is used for exposure and response prevention therapy like Datura. Wine and mead was actally used as entheogens to get in contact with spirits but today we typically call alchol for spirits for recreational drug use and often overcusume it. Why alcohol and other drugs are abused is because its hard to resist ego for the norm mentality. Narcissists are also well represented within drug-addicted populations. Stimulants does not just make users feel euphoric, but it simultaneously releases brain chemicals related to fear and stress bad feelings that linger after the euphoria fades. This is motivated by egoism, the oposit of ego-death that can be induced with some entheogens. So if drugs is taken in anxiogenic dose and one prevent anxiety and egoism with inner peace and egolessness they will be released from the body instead of getting stronger. Drug rehabilitation Self-medication with entheogens or psychedelic therapy, with for instance ibogaine, work as drug rehabilitation for some people while twelve-step programs work for other people. It is often a damaging effect to say that there is only one “real” form of rehabilitation.Opponent against drug vaccines Drug use are not, and never can be, hard or so-called 'objective' data on why drug use happens.[John Booth Davies, The Myth of Addiction] So what the world need is not a drug vaccine (a cocaine vaccine is developed at the moment for example) that act as “silverbullet” to eliminate drug cravings for life. It will be impossible for us to learn how to deal with egoism if drug vaccines become standard given to kids, out next generation. And it has never been more important for the humanity to learn that taken into account that we are soon overpopulated on so forth. We need to understand ourselves and learn to protect the good within us and prevent fears to take over. I think the drug craving phenomena would cease to exist if we did that. True physical dependence is rare True addiction has traditionally meant being physically dependent on something, so that if it's withdrawn, you go through a crisis that may be life-threatening. Very few drugs satisfy that criterion, although barbiturates come close. I remember a demonstration medical school about a cat that was given a barbiturate in a regular IP injection. The cat came to expect its injection and turned up every day at noon time to receive it. This went on for about eight months. One day, the cat got saline instead of barbiturate. Within two or three hours, the cat was dead. That is true physical dependency. That is addiction according to its archetypic definition.[ref] I personally tend to avoid the word addiction because of the baggage it carries with it - social unacceptability, legal involvement, pharmacological dependency. I like the word dependency because for one thing it avoids the addiction word; and secondly, it allows me to define two types of dependency - physical dependency and psychological dependency.[Alexander Shulgin] Against non-neurogenic medicines where neurogenic medication is possible
RIMAs MAOIs might explain why the brains of long-term ayahuasca users were chemically different from nonusers. Users had more receptors for serotonin.[ref] RIMAs can cure depression by neurogenesis. The buzzing effect can be described as the opposite pole of withdrawal by chemical dependency that instead cures depression, and MAOIs has shown efficacy in smoking cessation. RIMAs is used in pharmahuasca that is effective to treat inner dilemmas.
RIs, tricyclic drugs, lithium, and hydrazines Tricyclics have a narrow therapeutic index, i.e. the therapeutic dose is close to the toxic dose.[ref] And Interruption, dose reduction, or discontinuation of SSRI on the other hand is known to cause “SSRI is known to SSRI discontinuation syndrome”. And certain SSRI medications have been shown to lower serotonin levels below the baseline after chronic use, despite initial increases in serotonin. This has been connected to the observation that the benefit of SSRI's may decrease in selected patients after a long-term treatment.[ref] Take notice that [other reuptake inhibitors (RIs)] then SSRI such as SNRI's targeting the neurotransmitter nor-epinephrine (nor-adrenaline) and even Ritalin may interact (primary or secondary) with the serotonergic system in the brain, causing serotonin deficiency symptoms.[ref] Lithium salts have a narrow therapeutic/toxic ratio and should therefore not be prescribed unless facilities for monitoring plasma concentrations are available. Patients should be carefully selected.[ref] Lithium pharmacology (Li+) is effective in preventing mania than depression, and may reduce the risk of suicide. But lithiums harmful effects includes reduction of a childs growth, is responsible for significant amounts of weight gain, downbeat nystagmus, and if taken during a woman's pregnancy can cause her child to develop Ebstein's anomaly, a heart defect.[ref] As it interferes with the regulation of sodium and water levels in the body, lithium can cause dehydration. Dehydration, which is compounded by heat, can result in increasing lithium levels.[ref] Lithium can be dangerous in combinations with certain entheogens. At least one death have been reported to be triggered by the combination of LSD and lithium.[ref] The hydrazine antidepressants are a group of irreversible and nonselective monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) that were discovered and initially marketed in the 1950s and '60s. Most have been withdrawn due to toxic reactions like hepatotoxicity, but several still remain in clinical use.[ref] Critisism of these pharmaceuticals:
Critisism to pharmaceutical lobbying National agencies for drug regulation cracks down on entheogenic and ethnobocanicals websites. Government Organization like the FDA has been paid by the pharmaceutical lobbyists. Nine FDA scientists appealed to then president-elect George W. Bush over pressure from management to manipulate data, mainly in relation to the review process for medical devices. These concerns were highlighted in the 2006 report[ref] on the agency as well.[ref] Many economists that publish statements regarding the FDA “exhibit a sort of intellectual schizophrenia. In their heart of hearts, they seem to agree that there is no respectable market-failure rationale.”[ref]Alcohol Alcohol has the effect of being libidinally stimulating at moderate doses at the same time that the ego feels empowered and social boundaries are felt to lose some of their restraining power. Often these feelings are accompanied by a sense of verbal facility ordinarily out of reach. The difficulty with all of this is that research findings suggest these fleeting effects are usually followed by a narrowing of awareness, a diminishing of ability to respond to social cues, and an infantile regression into loss of sexual performance, loss of general motor control, and consequent loss of self-esteem. Moderation in drinking seems the obvious course. Yet alcoholism is a major and unremitting problem throughout global society. I believe that the alcohol abuse syndrome is symptomatic of the state of disequilibrium and tension existing between men and women and between the individual and society. Alcoholism is a condition of ego obsession and inability to resist the drive toward immediate gratification. [Terence McKenna, Food of the Gods, p80] Alcohol is legal because it makes a great deal of money for huge corporations and the government. It also keeps us distracted and entertained without thinking. Getting drunk is a form of escapism in cut-throat capitalist societys, and so the government permits it. Alcohol is a neurotoxin; Binge drinking is associated with neurocognitive deficits of frontal lobe processing and impaired working memory as well as delayed auditory and verbal memory deficits.[ref][ref] Advice on weekly consumption is avoided in United Kingdom to battle binge drinking.[ref] Moderate drinkers tend to have better cognitive function than both abstainers and heavy drinkers. An international study of almost 6,000 men and 11,000 women found that persons who reported that they drank more than 2 units of alcohol a day had an increased risk of fractures compared to non-drinkers. For example, those who drank over 3 units a day had nearly twice the risk of a hip fracture.[ref] “Maximum health advantage” for men over 40 lies between one and two units a day[ref]. Alcohol has been used as en entheogen in combination with insomnia by some shamans. Useful links about alcohol:
Tobacco An estimated 500 million people alive today will die due to tobacco.[ref]Drug re-legalization Drug prohibition inhibit self-ownership. All drugs should be made legal internationally; drug laws do not regulate drugs, drug laws regulate people. I would say the most damaging aspect of many drugs and drug use today is the law, which often does more harm than the drugs themselves.[Alexander Shulgin]. Some people seem to think that some drugs have been banned because the government “cares about our welfare.”. Do not fool yourselves. The government does not care about your welfare. Alcohol and cigarettes is some of the deadliest, most profitable and most addictive drugs out there, and they legalized those. Why would you assume they'd care enough to ban others? The United Nations lavishly praised drug decriminalization in its annual report on the state of global drug policy. In 2008, the UN drug czar had expressed skepticism about Portugal's decriminalization, which removed criminal penalties in 2001 for personal drug possession and emphasized treatment over incarceration. The UN had suggested the policy was in violation of international drug treaties and would encourage “drug tourism.”. But in its 2009 World Drug Report, the UN had little but kind words for Portugal's radical (by U.S. standards) approach.[ref] One of United Nations stated aim is achieving of world peace. In world peace there could be no law enforcement, because force is a form of violence. Therefore all drugs must be legal. The main problem [with United Nations international drug prohibition] is not that drug control efforts have failed to eliminate drug use, an aspirational goal akin to the elimination of war and poverty. It is that in attempting to do so, they have indirectly enriched dangerous criminals, who kill and bribe their way from the countries where drugs are produced to the countries where drugs are consumed.[UN World Drug Report 2009] For the drug cartels, drug prohibition laws means employment, easy money, good times, shiny new cars, and new suits. Also, descructive people tend to be desctructive against law and destructive in their drug use. For instance, alcohol prohibition in 1920 created an atmosphere that allowed crime to fester. Its also mutch easier to sell hard drugs like heroin and cocaine in rich countries like Sweden.
The Czech Republic joined Portugal as a European Union country that has decriminalized drug possession (in the Netherlands, marijuana is quasi-legal not officially legal.).
The Czech overall drug arrest rate is 1 per 100,000 population. The United States' overall drug arrest rate is 585 per 100,000 population. How much does the drug war cost American taxpayers? $40 billion per year and climbing. In addition, according to White House estimates, 57% of Americans in need of drug treatment do not receive it, in spite of its proven cost effectiveness in reducing drug use.[Drug Policy Alliance]. War can never be justified; The war on drug is a war on mental states. It is a war on consciousness itself. This propaganda technique comparable thoughtcrime or, in Newspeak (which comes the language itself), “crimethink”. Any person anywhere who experiments on himself, or on another human being, with any drug, without being familiar with that drug's action and aware of the physical and/or mental disturbance or harm it might cause, is acting irresponsibly and immorally, whether or not he is doing so within the bounds of the law.[Alexander Shulgin] It is historical and cultural precedents rather than pharmacology, economic or risk benefit analysis which provides for the distinction between legal and illegal drugs.[Casey]. Scientists want new drug rankings.[BBC News]. Schools should teach drug education to promote responsible decision making regarding drugs. Entheogens (drugs that produces a spiritual effect) Where do we come from? McKenna positing that the ingestion of psilocybin was perhaps primary in the formation of language and culture and identifying psychedelic mushrooms as the original “Tree of Knowledge”. There is indeed some research supporting the theory that psilocybin ingestion temporarily increases neurochemical activity in the language centers of the brain, indicating a need for more research into the uses of psychoactive plants and fungi in human history.[ref] Evidence for the first use of entheogens may come from Tassili, Algeria, with a cave painting of a mushroom-man, dating to 8000 BP.[ref] Shamanistic practices are claimed to predate all organized religions.[ref] Genetic studies have shown that fungi are more closely related to animals than to plants. [ref] I love entheogens! To begin with, these drugs (and some of their their [legal] analogs) have standard medical use:
Second, these entheogens is not a social problem like alcohol, tobacco, and benzodiazepine medicines, and the billion market for illicit hard drugs like some dependence amphetamine-like stimulants, opiates (including morphine and heroin), cocaine, and methamphetamine. Cannabis is a trend but not more dangerous then alcohol so it should not be more illegal. Again, various cultures have conceptions that drugs are connected to evil forces no matter how they are used, including entheogens. In most western countries it is social accepted by many people to use alcohol for recreation purposes. From the scientific point of view, alcohol is usally denied as being a drug because they fear that they might abuse something. They think that drug use in a spiritual context is frightening as a psychological self-defense as its totally unknown to them because its not socially accepted. But think of it, it is concidered healthy to have fun and be be spritiual in a sober condition, so why should it not be ok to use drugs for the same reasons? It is not a weakness but a strenght to seek help and entheogens can give you that assistance. I've learned that visionary experiences are much more important than the drugs that produce them in the same way that life altering transformation are mutch more important then memories. The goal should be to metaprogram the brain to the degree where one no longer need to take entheogens for journeys. Entheogens also help gain personal independence from established medicines like non-neurogenic antidepressants. I advocate drugs that can produce entheogenic effects including entheogens, entheogenic medicines, and entheogenic nootropical. A spiritual practices that is easy to learn but yet powerful is diaphragmatic breathing. That should be learned as the standard way of breating for optimal oxygen uptake. Synthetic and hard drugs can be used as entheogens too (please read “ego theory on drug dependence”). I think that recreational drug use without therapheutic intention (eg escapism) is drug abuse. Alcohol and sedative/hypnotic drugs, such as barbiturates and benzodiazepines are generally ineffective antidepressants, as most are short-acting, the rapid onset of alcohol and sedative/hypnotics softens rigid defenses and, in low to moderate doses, provides the illusion of relief from depressive affect and anxiety. To subtract entheogens from our humanity is to deny part of our history that made us what we are today. Entheogens have the capacity and guidance to develop chronic inner peace. Spiritual practices and chemicals affect different receptors in the brain on their own. Entheogens is chemicals (whether they are contained in organisms or not) used in a spiritual context. I do not see personal disorders as “gifts” because they are nothing then denials of ourselves that create more disorders if they are not treated. For example, psychopathy is associated with dysfunctional brain parts, perhaps because psychopaths deny empathy to others. Does that mean that we cease to exist if we deny our selves completely? Sometimes I model “personal disorders” as teachers who learn us that we must change attitude torwards life in order to get cured. These collective consciousness, or teachers, can be induced by altered states of consciousness. I do not agree with neoshamanism and its new age relations who tends to dismiss the existence of evil, fear, and failure that is essential in traditional or core shamanism. Fear is learned and must be unlearned, to diminish a fear, you must first face it. I support New Age Frauds and Plastic Shamans (NAFPS) and life-process model of addiction. Addiction is a choice, not a disease. Addicts tend to believe that they are not the masters of their own fate, that control lies outside of them.Robert B. Millman The use of entheogens have played a pivotal role for me as complements for spiritual practice. I have never been drug dependence or been commited to serious suicidal ideation. But I was a risk drug user before I started to use entheogens for self-healing. I was for example often drunked at the weekends for antidepressive purpose and it was socially accpted, but I don't think that it justifies that it was right. I should have used neurogenic antidepressant from the start instead of damaging my brain with alcohol. I am bound for the ascetic life; I only use drugs for medical and spiritual purposes, and non-smoker. In general I don't recommend drugs; There are risks and benefits involved with taking any drug. It should be up to the person taking the drug to weigh up those risks against the benefits for themselves, and decide for himself whether or not to take the drug. The very reason why hallucinogens are not accepted is because the man has become so egocentric that they are mostly used for escapist or recreational drug use. Entheogens that absolutely should be legalDMT and 5-MeO-DMT: These drugs is often classified as a dangerous drug (due to political reasons) even though it is very non-toxic, non-addictive, and safe. However, DMT and 5-MeO-DMT is unique in that every person is technically guilty of DMT and 5-MeO-DMT possession where such laws against it exist, as the chemical is created in the body. Its speculated that DMT is relsead from the pineal gland during dreams and meditation by the way. I speculate that DMT can be used as a powerful treatment against fluoride calcification of the pineal gland. If DMT is released from the pineal gland it would mean that meditation (DMT released from the brain) and use of DMT change the mind to the same ASC. The Religious Freedom Restoration Act allow both 5-MeO-DMT and DMT in the US: Salvia divinorum: Medical experts, as well as accident and emergency rooms, have not been reporting cases that suggest particular salvia-related health concerns, and police have not been reporting it as a significant issue with regard to public order offences; in any case, Salvia divinorum has attracted negative attention from the media and some lawmakers.[ref]
Internationally, Article 32, paragraph 4 of the United Nations Convention on Psychotropic Substances allows nations to exempt certain traditional uses of entheogens from prohibition: Nowadays municipalities spray land where entheogens grows that has been made illegal. For example, liberty caps (Psilocybe semilanceata) is sprayed by the governments in Sweden.
Free festivals Shamans and ravers express meanings in many ways: verbally, musically, artistically, and in dance. The use of legal and safe drug (excluding Ecstacy) at reves is not entierly negative, many people get insight about their lives and move on.
